Atelier
Stone, beyond the slab.
Made-to-commission objects — baths, basins, partitions, tables, fireplaces — realised through a small circle of fabrication ateliers the studio trusts with its name. One brief, one point of contact, from drawing to installed piece.

The ateliers
We don’t publish our makers’ names. We put ours on their work.
Each commission is placed with the workshop best suited to it — carvers, turners, and fabricators whose relationships Lithos holds directly. You get one contract, one standard of finish, and a studio accountable for both.
Commissions
From drawing to installed piece.
01
Intent & drawings
Bring finished drawings to execute faithfully, or a sketch and a feeling — Lithos develops the fabrication detail with you either way.
02
Material selection
The block or slabs are chosen for the piece: vein direction, structural soundness, and how the drawing wraps each face. You approve the exact material.
03
Fabrication & proofing
The work is placed with the atelier suited to it. Tolerances, templates, and mock-ups are managed by Lithos — with photography at each stage.
04
Delivery & installation
Crating, freight, and site coordination handled through to placement, with the installer briefed on handling and care.
With and for designers
Your design. Your credit.
The atelier works the way the rest of the studio works: on the designer’s side of the table. Pieces are executed to your drawings and credited to your studio — or developed together when you want a material voice in the room. Client confidentiality holds throughout.
Commissions begin with the same brief as any sourcing project. Describe the piece, the space, and the timeline; Lithos responds with material direction, feasibility, and an honest read on cost and lead time.
Commission a piece.
A sketch and a sentence are enough to start the conversation.
